NATURAL MUESLI BARS
125g butter
3 tbs (1/4 cup or 65ml)
Queen Glucose Syrup
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup (125g raw sugar
3 cups (750g) natural muesli (containing any type of fruit and nut)
1/2 cup (125g) dessicated coconut
1/2 cup plain flour
1 tsp
Queen Natural Rosewater
2 tbs sesame seeds
Makes: 9 Prep Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 20 minutes, plus cooling Preheat oven to 180C. Grease a 19 x 29cm lamington pan. Chop any larger size chunks of fruit or nut from muesli into smaller bite size pieces. Place butter and glucose in a saucepan and melt over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Press mixture firmly into pan. Bake for 20 minutes or until a scewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan before cutting into bars. Kids will love baking their own healthy museli bars. Queen Glucose Syrup is a great addition as it doesn't crystallise or 'brown', allowing the nuts, seeds and muesli to retain their natural colours. Note: if the glucose appears to be a bit thick (especially in the cooler months), simply pop the whole jar into the microwave for 20 seconds.
